This is definitely a great serum... if you can comfortably afford it.

I have gone times without it purely because of cost and I'll wait until there is a sale/bundle to repurchase.
When I go without it, my skin is still in relatively good condition. My skin is dry, flaky, and patchy. I live in the Southwest USA which is a desert so it's extra dry here. My routine starts by washing, then applying snail mucin, then 3 drops of this, then Clinique dramatically different lotion + (don't get the gel if you have dry skin, the lotion + is much better), and then I top it off with Eucerin Eczema Relief cream. This combo makes my skin soft and plump throughout the day and works really well for me. I think the Advanced Night Repair helps bridge the gap between the snail mucin and the lotion + by adding in a bit more moisture before locking it in with the lotion + then the heavy cream.

With that said, I have pretty bad eczema and this is the second best thing for my eczema patches. The best thing for my eczema is my prescribed injections, Dupixent, which come once a month. I can tell when I'm coming due for my next shot because my skin will start flaring up again. This is really great to put on my eczema patches to tide me over and it truly helps my skin heal and not flare up. I have a few different steroid/non-steroid creams and ointments that have been prescribed as well but this does better than all of my creams and ointments combined. I try and not use this too much because a little goes a long way.

On my elbow I have a 2in diameter eczema patch and I will only use one drop (two if it's really bad) and this more than covers it. Every night I use 3 drops for my entire face and I find this is a good amount.

Sorry for the extra information and probably TMI but I want to help those who may also be struggling with eczema and may not be approved for stronger prescription medication because I've had eczema since childhood and never heard of injections like Dupixent.
