This book is a family favorite and I was thrilled to share it with my granddaughter! To find it as a hardback was an extra treat! It arrived quickly and in perfect condition!

This is such a great book. I recommend the sequel that the authors understudy created based on her illustrations and inspired by the writing of this book. Beautifully illustrated and written. It gives a glimpse back into the past while keeping young minds engaged.

I loved this book as a child! My cousin - who has a 9 month old girl - has been collecting classics for years. When she recently visited, I showed her this book at my local BAM. She said that she had never heard of it! I was shocked! I put it in my pile to purhcase to make sure my baby cousin had this classic in her personal library!
