Love the stonewood color. Great travel pant.

Stonewood is a very tasteful off-white, a light grey with a hint of beige. I thought I wanted white jeans but this color is actually going to be much more practical and go with everything. I bought to be a travel pant. Made in Bangladesh. Comfy fabric, looks like a 1980s classy quality mommy jean. First time on the misses 12 is a little snug all over but my experience with stretchy fabric is that it tends to relax and expand so I'm going to keep and wear around the house once before wearing out. They fit at the waist, and the pant leg hits just above the sneaker. I'm 5' 6", 170 lbs, age 64. Pleased, bought another pair.
So disappointing

I have been wearing Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans in 12P for years. I currently have 6 pairs that fit me beautifully. (I am 5’0”, wt 145 lbs). I was so excited to find them in 2 new colors, and ordered 1 pair of each color in a 12P from JC Penney.com. Sadly, the jeans I received are most definitely not petite, although the package and the jeans indicated they were 12P. Besides being a full 2 inches longer than the ones I currently own, the snap closure at the waist comes 2 inches above my navel, rather than right at my navel, as the ones I have had for years do. In trying to figure out the problem, I saw that the bags they came in have the word Average on them. In searching the Amanda petite jeans from other retailers, I discovered that they appear to be made in 2 petite styles: one short, one average, and they are clearly marked on the other retailer sites. That is not the case with these from JC Penney. If you are truly looking for petite jeans, save yourself the disappointment. The ones at JC Penney are proportioned for the average body, and will be too large for a petite person.
[Rewarded Review] Nice pants, but...

I bought two pairs of Amanda slimming jeans in 2 different colors. One is Frisco, dark blue and the other is Zermatt, light blue in size 12A. Unfortunately, only the Frisco fit. Nice but costly jeans. The buttonhole on both jeans is rather small for an easy close. I had to make the hole a little wider. I also ordered 3 bras in my size but they are too big. What is going on with Penney's?? It seems that ordering J.C. Penney's clothes online is not a good idea for this has happened to me before. I am disappointed.
[Rewarded Review] Cute Classic Jeans

I have been wearing this brand for many years. As the years have gone by, they are unpredictable as to fit and fabric. I have sized down the past 4 pairs and also gone from long to average due to the changing length. I am 5ft 8". They have a lot of stretch to them which is why I size down. After wearing several hours, the crotch seems to sag and the legs get baggy due to the stretch. I would suggest trying them on in store if possible because based on the color and depending on where they are made, the fit is affected. These pants are always my go to, just not as good as they used to be.
