To be fair, this isn't our first time reading this book.... but with the movie being released very soon, we felt it time we own our own copy here in our home library. This is the first of (I think) three books in the series, and it is a story that we will forever consider a classic. If you want or need beautiful inspiration for the ability to improvise and remain resilient in a challenging world, this story will bring that. If you want to be reminded that good people are out there on this path we are walking, this is the story for that.... 'look for the helpers', as Mr. Rogers told us! Read the book with your children, and then go see the movie: THE BEST <3 Just know you'll be needing the next two in the series asap, so order them now.......

Product was delivered in good condition. The story itself was a little slow but very descriptive. Great read for my 2nd graders. In my opinion, the book was better than the movie (actually made the movie disappointing). Book left me wanting to read on to the second.

I bought this book for my son. We saw the movies a few weeks ago and he liked it!!! But he just finished reading the book and said he liked the book A LOT BETTER than the movie. The picture on the front cover is really cool too!

Picky %26 struggling 9 y.o. reader appreciates the success of finising so many chapters since the chapters are short, but more importantly is enjoying the story and is adequately challenged by the vocabulary. As an adult, I find the story compelling and rich with symbolism.
