I went into this blind, and that is exactly how I recommend you read this book. Klune is masterful with his writing, allowing the story to flow from being heavy and disturbing to downright goofy without any feeling of whiplash. Everything just...fit.

I cannot recommend this book enough, and I will be reading his other world.

Wallace is a Grinch and it takes his death to see what life & love is all about; it was nice to see his progression. This was such a unique story on death and what comes after, written in such a way that it’s not dark and morbid. I love all of these character! You just can’t help but fall in love with how different they are, yet how they form the perfect “found family”. Trigger Warning: Death, Suicide, Death of a Child

One of my favorite books. TJ Klune's stories are always such a breath of fresh air, with enthralling characters and heart warming (and wrenching) tales. A little predictable and very trope-y, but in the best way. TW Death, suicide, violence - that said I still promise this book is a hug and worth every moment!

Product arrived in perfect condition. Considering that this is the hardbound version and it has no damages at all, I’m surprised that the book is this affordable. Been buying hard-to-find books in this shop for a while now, and this remains my #1 book shop on shopee 🫶
